We are seeking a detail-oriented Maintenance Planning Systems Specialist to manage and optimize our CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) for water and wastewater treatment operations. This role ensures accurate asset data management, efficient work order management, and compliance with maintenance standards while also developing and maintaining preventive maintenance plans and schedules to support reliable water treatment operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Administer and maintain the CMMS platform (Maintenance Connection).
• Develop and manage preventive and predictive maintenance schedules for water and wastewater assets.
• Plan and prioritize work orders to optimize labor and resource utilization.
• Ensure data integrity for equipment, inventory, and work orders.
• Generate reports and dashboards for KPIs, compliance, and performance tracking.
• Train staff on CMMS usage, planning, and scheduling best practices.
• Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to improve workflows and reduce downtime.

• Associate degree in engineering, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2+ years of experience administering Maintenance Connection or similar CMMS.
• Experience in maintenance planning and scheduling within industrial or municipal environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in data management and reporting tools.
• Excellent communication and training abilities.
• Travel may be required up to 50%.
Ideally, you'll also have:
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Knowledge of water and wastewater treatment processes preferred.
• Understanding of reliability-centered maintenance principles.
• SQL or database management knowledge.
