    Responsibilities

    + Conduct cloud service analytics.

    + Support month-end close processes.

    + Manage inventory finance and CAPEX/OPEX spending.

    + Assist engineering groups in finance matters, including budgeting, forecasting, expense tracking, and control.

    + Collaborate with functional leaders and finance teams to build scalable financial processes and business metrics.

    + Provide strategic financial and business analysis to site leaders and business partners, including cost-saving and process improvement recommendations.

    + Lead strategic operational planning processes addressing identified risks and opportunities.

    + Write systems queries to gather finance data and perform analysis using MS Excel, Cognos/Essbase, and SQL.

    Essential Skills

    + Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, or related field.

    + 5 years of relevant finance experience.

    + Advanced knowledge of Excel.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Advanced analytical skills with proven ability to work independently in rapidly changing environments.

    + Demonstrated experience building and managing financial models for business forecasting, variance analysis, and problem-solving.

    + Experience with Cognos and SQL strongly preferred.

    + Excellent written and oral communication skills.

    + Comfort working with large volumes of complex data and presenting findings to senior management.

    + Knowledge of financial analysis, financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and reconciliation.

    + Proficiency in VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP and Excel formulas.

    + Basic accounting knowledge (accruals, debit, and credit).

    + Experience utilizing tools such as TM1, Priority, Coupa, Quicksight Dashboards, and Nexus.

    Work Environment

    The work environment is fast-paced, with a small team constantly growing and working on machine learning and artificial intelligence initiatives. The role is full-time in the office, Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm PST, with occasional holiday work if it aligns with the end or start of the month. The position involves independent work, with most interactions with the manager occurring in weekly 1:1 meetings. Collaboration with supply chains, IT, and colleagues from different regions is required.

    This is a Contract position based out of Cupertino, CA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $53.00/hr.
