Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled professional with strong clinical experience and a solid understanding of business operations to support the development and management of medical device products. This role bridges clinical knowledge with strategic business insight to ensure product success in healthcare settings.
Key Responsibilities
+ Leverage Clinical Expertise: Apply deep clinical knowledge to evaluate product usability, performance, and healthcare applicability, ensuring alignment with end-user needs and patient safety.
+ Product Development & Compliance: Assist in product design, packaging artwork, and labeling to maintain regulatory compliance, consistency, and brand integrity for medical devices (e.g., syringes, injection systems, and related clinical products).
+ Supplier & Regulatory Collaboration: Work closely with suppliers to gather technical specifications, Instructions for Use (IFUs), and regulatory documentation for medical devices.
+ Product Launch & Approval: Support the Product Approval Team (PAT) process and facilitate timely product launches for clinical products.
+ Market Analysis & Optimization: Evaluate substitute medical devices, cross-reference alternatives, and conduct competitive benchmarking to optimize availability and drive conversions.
+ Training & Education: Provide product knowledge and clinical best practices training to Sales and Marketing teams, ensuring accurate representation of device functionality.
+ Data-Driven Insights: Deliver performance analysis, usage tracking, and ROI reporting to guide sourcing and sales strategies.
+ Cross-Functional Leadership: Act as a liaison between Marketing, Sourcing, and vendor partners to ensure alignment on medical device projects and category growth.
+ Strategic Growth: Partner with stakeholders to identify opportunities for private-label expansion and streamline processes for device-related categories.
Required Skills
+ Strong clinical experience with hands-on experience in healthcare or medical device environments.
+ Ability to interpret and apply clinical data to product development and market strategies.
+ Business acumen with experience in vendor management, ROI analysis, and strategic planning.
+ Excellent communication and presentation skills for internal teams and healthcare customers.
Experience Level
Intermediate – Ideal candidate has clinical experience (e.g., nursing, pharmacy, or allied health) combined with exposure to business operations or product management.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tiffin, OH.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr.
