Description

• Daily duties include processing drawing packages within an ERP software system. Compiling PDF drawing packages, printing drawing packages which will be supplied to the shop for fabrication.

• Work closely with the procurement team / shop personnel to ensure correct materials will arrive in a timely manner.

• Follow both general-purpose, defined rules and situation-specific guidelines when developing work instructions

• Produce complete, accurate, and timely work instructions

• Continuously update data within the corporate software to provide accurate and up-to-date information

• Schedule and cooperate operational activities

• Ability to read company orders, determine material needs, and set up requirements

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Understanding of manufacturing processes used in heavy steel fabrication

• Able to juggle multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

• Detail-oriented approach to accuracy and completion of projects while maintaining organized files.

• Basic knowledge of mechanical drawings/design

• Proficiency in both oral and written communication

• Strong computer skills in MS Office Suite and supporting software packages;

• Excellent attendance and punctuality

• Ability to adhere to company policies and procedures

Skills

Production planning, erp system, order entry, material planning, mrp system, autocad, Solidworks

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Understanding of electrical and automation fields

• Knowledge of Enterprise/Materials Resource Planning software (ERP/MRP) conventions, practices, and technique

• Proficiency in both AutoCAD and SolidWorks software is a benefit

• Ability to read and interpret mechanical and structural drawings

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Spokane Valley, WA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $30.00/hr.
