    Under supervision, the Safety Inspector Supervisor (Elevators/Boilers/Amusements) oversees the daily operations of the elevator inspection unit, ensuring compliance with state and federal safety regulations, codes, and standards.

     

    Lead, supervise, and evaluate elevator inspection staff, including setting performance expectations and conducting performance reviews.

     

    Provide technical training, mentorship, and guidance to inspectors on complex code interpretations and inspection procedures.

     

    Assign, review, and prioritize inspection workloads to ensure efficient and timely coverage of assigned regions.

     

    Oversee team adherence to safety, ethics, and professional standards.

     

    Review inspection reports, documentation, and certifications for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with relevant codes and regulations.

     

    Conduct field audits and accompany inspectors to evaluate performance and ensure procedural consistency.

     

    Assist with the development, revision, and implementation of inspection policies, procedures, and safety protocols.

     

    Maintain inspection data, analyze trends, and prepare internal reports for leadership and regulatory bodies.

     

    Collaborate with contractors, building owners, maintenance companies, and other stakeholders to resolve inspection issues and ensure compliance.

     

    Perform other duties as assigned.

     

    High school diploma/GED and four (4) years of job-related experience; or one (1) year of experience required at the lower level Safety & Compliance Spec 3 (RCP012) or position equivalent. Note: Some positions may require a valid driver's license. Note: Some positions may require certification and/or licensure.
