Job Description
AECOM Technical Services, Inc. is seeking a Civil Engineering, Philadelphia, PA.
Job details:
+ Provide technical leadership to teams working on medium to large scale transportation projects
+ Develop design criteria, horizontal and vertical alignments, superelevation, barrier/guiderail design, and spot elevation details
+ Develop rigid and flexible pavement designs
+ Prepare signing and pavement marking plans and details
+ Prepare construction phasing plans and develop maintenance of traffic based on interdisciplinary coordination and constructability reviews
+ Identify utility conflicts and coordinate resolutions based on interdisciplinary constructability reviews, client feedback, and utility needs
+ Develop construction specifications, quantities, and cost estimates
+ Implement 3D CADD modeling techniques
+ Develop technical reports, tables, and graphics per client and/or internal AECOM standards
+ Adhere to and promote AECOM quality procedures
+ Complete interdisciplinary technical reviews
+ Contribute to internal project-related staffing decisions to facilitate meeting client schedule, scope, and budget
+ Prepare presentations that explain technical findings, recommendations, and limitations
+ Work collaboratively as part of a larger design team to proactively meet the client’s scope, budget, and schedule through ethical and responsible decision making
+ Provide support to AECOM project managers and department managers
+ Telecommuting permitted up to 3 days per week
Qualifications
Candidates must have a Master's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field of study and 3 years experience as Design Engineer, Civil Engineer, Transportation Engineer, or related occupation.
Alternatively, employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field of study and 5 years of experience in a related occupation.
The position requires:
1. Professional Engineer (PE) license, or the ability to obtain the license within one year of employment.
2. Experience in the following: OpenRoads Designer; AutoTURN; AASHTO, PROWAG, and HCM Manuals; Bluebeam; AutoCAD; AutoCAD Civil 3D; MicroStation; HEC-RAS; HCS; ArcGIS; and GEOPAK.

Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The range for this position is $119413 to $153882.
