    Special Education Teacher (LBS1) – Make a Difference Every Day!

     

    Grade Levels: Elementary (K-2) OR Middle School (6-8)

     

    Start Date: ASAP – End of School Year

     

    Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM

    What You’ll Do:

    + Deliver high-quality instruction to students in a self-contained classroom (max 13 students).

    + Collaborate with general education staff to design and implement individualized education programs (IEPs).

    + Provide specialized instruction, tutorial assistance, and consultation to ensure student success.

    + Work alongside paraprofessional support to create a positive, structured learning environment.

    What We’re Looking For:

    + Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university (preferred).

    + Valid state teaching certificate (Special Education endorsement LBS1 required).

    + Experience in a teaching environment (minimum 1 year preferred).

    + Compliance with all federal, state, and local requirements.

    + Current CPR, TB screening, and health certificate as applicable.
