About the Role
We’re seeking passionate SpecialEducation Teachers to join a supportive district team. These positionsfocus on elementary skills classrooms and behavioral managementclassrooms, making a meaningful impact on students’ academic and socialsuccess.

+ Classroom Support: May include a Behavior Technician (BT) or paraprofessional
+ Interview: Virtual with district leadership
Requirements
+ Active EC-12 Special Education Certification
+ EC-6 Core or 4-8 Generalist certification
+ Compliance with all district and state requirements
+ Must be at least 18 years of age
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
+ Plan and implement curriculum using effective teaching strategies tailored to student needs
+ Develop and draft IEP goals and objectives in collaboration with ARD committees
+ Participate in ARD meetings and provide required documentation
+ Conduct formative and summative assessments to monitor student progress
+ Maintain accurate records including attendance, progress reports, and updated IEPs
+ Serve as case manager for assigned students
+ Collaborate with general education teachers to support inclusion when appropriate
+ Select and maintain special education equipment and instructional materials
+ Employ a variety of instructional techniques and media, including technology and visual aids
+ Support students with physical needs (e.g., toileting, feeding, mobility assistance)
+ Implement behavior management strategies and classroom routines
+ Provide consistent reinforcement and feedback to promote student growth
+ Communicate regularly with families regarding academic and behavioral progress
