    Amergis Healthcare Staffing is partnered with a much-respected facility in New Bedford , MA who is currently seeking a qualified Medical Technologist to assist them on a contractual basis.

    Details of the position include:

    Position: Medical Technologist

     

    Start Date: ASAP

     

    Duration: 13 or 26 weeks - likelihood of extension

    Schedule:

    • 40 hours per week

    • 5x8s

    • 2nd shift 3:30p-12a

    • Every other weekend

    • Every other holiday

    • Orientation will be on day shift for training – discussed in interview

    Contract Requirements:

    • 5+ years of experience reading cultures in microbiology – must be able to work independently

    • Gram stain experience required

    • Must be specialized in microbiology

    • 5+ years of experience as a Medical Technologist

    • ASCP certification preferred but not required

    • Prior experience working in a hospital lab setting as an MLT/MT

    Pay:

    + Travel: Up to $2,707/week

     

    EMR: EPIC Beaker - willing to train

     

    Parking: Free on-site
