EITS Sr. Director and Laboratory Informationist

CTG is seeking to fill an EITS Sr. Director and Laboratory Informaticist position for our client in New York, NY.
**Duration:** 12 months
Duties:
+ Lead laboratory data governance, ensuring integrity, security, and regulatory compliance.
+ Oversee system validation for new lab instruments and interfaces.
+ Monitor and improve KPIs for lab system functionality and data quality.
+ Partner with Project Management to identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
+ Participate in special projects and strategic initiatives as needed.
Skills:
+ Expertise in laboratory information systems and clinical informatics.
+ Strong leadership, communication, and presentation skills.
+ Proficient in Microsoft and/or Google Suite applications.
+ Ability to establish and enforce data policies and procedures.
Experience:
+ Healthcare experience required.
+ 5+ years in managerial or leadership roles preferred.
Education:
+ M.D. or D.O. degree required.
+ Board Certification in Clinical Pathology, Anatomic Pathology, or combined Pathology.
+ Board Certification or eligibility in Clinical Informatics (or equivalent experience).
Certification(s)/NYS Licenses:
+ Board Certification in Clinical Pathology, Anatomic Pathology, or combined Pathology.
+ Board Certification or eligibility in Clinical Informatics (or equivalent experience).
Special Equipment/Machines Operated:
+ Basic computing equipment.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
