CTG is seeking to fill a Lead Full-Stack .NET / Azure Engineer opening for our client in Wilmington, DE.
**Duration:** 12 months
**Location:** Wilmington, DE
**Schedule:** Hybrid 3 days onsite-2 days remote
Position Overview:
CTG is seeking a Lead Full-Stack .NET / Azure Engineer to join our client’s team in Wilmington, DE. This hands-on role focuses on building and modernizing full-stack web applications that support critical business functions. You’ll work across WebForms, MVC, Angular, SQL Server, and C#, while guiding the team in moving legacy systems toward cloud-native designs in Azure. The role combines technical leadership, mentoring, and influence on architecture and tools with active software development.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Lead the design, development, and delivery of complex full-stack applications from planning through release.
+ Serve as the technical lead on major projects, mentoring developers and guiding team best practices.
+ Refactor and modernize legacy WebForms applications for cloud-native solutions in Azure.
+ Build and maintain authentication flows, including SSO.
+ Apply strong data modeling practices using Entity Framework Core.
+ Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality features on schedule.
+ Review code, develop test plans, and troubleshoot complex issues.
+ Recommend tools, approaches, and architecture improvements to enhance performance and maintainability.
+ Contribute to CI/CD pipeline development and DevOps automation using GitLab.
Required Qualifications:
+ 10+ years of software development experience.
+ Strong full-stack experience with:
+ .NET Framework 4.8 (10+ years)
+ .NET Core 6+ (5+ years)
+ C# (10+ years)
+ ASP.NET WebForms (5+ years)
+ MVC, Web API (3+ years)
+ Angular (5+ years)
+ SQL Server (5+ years)
+ Experience with cloud-native design and refactoring legacy applications for Azure.
+ Solid understanding of SOLID principles and clean coding practices.
+ Hands-on experience with Entity Framework Core (3+ years).
+ Unit testing experience, including mocking frameworks (3+ years).
+ Experience with GitLab and CI/CD pipelines (2+ years).
+ Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Experience with PrimeNG or KendoUI.
+ Familiarity with dependency injection frameworks (3+ years).
+ Experience integrating with DocuSign or FileNet.
+ Background in financial services or banking.
+ Proven success leading technical teams and delivering high-quality software.
