CTG is seeking to fill an Epic Wisdom Analyst position for our client in Chicago, IL.

**Duration:** 6 months

Duties:

+ Analyze current and future-state workflows to identify optimization opportunities aligned with the Refuel initiative.

+ Design, configure, and maintain Epic Wisdom components including clinical documentation, scheduling, imaging, revenue cycle workflows, patient access tools, odontograms, and treatment planning.

+ Develop, test, and deploy new features, templates, rules, SmartTools, questionnaires, and clinical decision support tools within Epic Wisdom.

+ Collaborate with dental service line leaders, clinicians, schedulers, and revenue cycle staff to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

+ Provide recommendations for workflow standardization and best practices that reduce provider burden and enhance patient experience.

+ Participate in multidisciplinary working groups to drive Refuel priorities across ambulatory dental and surgical clinics.

+ Conduct assessments of existing workflows to identify inefficiencies, redundant processes, or areas for improvement.

+ Lead optimization projects that improve throughput, streamline documentation, enhance scheduling accuracy, and reduce rework.

+ Monitor key performance indicators and partner with operational leadership to ensure measurable improvement.

+ Develop and execute test scripts for upgrades, new build, and optimization changes.

+ Troubleshoot issues, perform root-cause analyses, and provide timely support to end users.

+ Maintain documentation for build changes, workflows, job aids, and training materials.

+ Participate in Epic governance processes, including change control, design sessions, and prioritization meetings.

+ Coordinate cross-module dependencies with analysts supporting Clinical, Ambulatory, Cadence, Beacon, Cupid, Radiant, Referrals, Billing, and related applications.

Experience:

Required:

+ Epic Wisdom Certification.

+ 4+ years of Epic Wisdom build, optimization, or support experience within Wisdom and Ambulatory environments.

+ Strong understanding of clinical and operational workflows in dental, oral surgery, or ambulatory care settings.

+ Demonstrated ability to analyze complex problems, develop solutions, and drive measurable outcomes.

Preferred:

+ Experience in optimization initiatives (e.g., Refuel, EHR redesign, efficiency programs).

+ Background in dental practice operations, clinical dentistry, or multispecialty ambulatory workflows.

+ Experience with integrated modules such as Cadence, Resolute PB, Referrals, Radiant, imaging systems, or other related Epic applications.

+ Strong communication skills supporting collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.

Education:

+ Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Healthcare Administration, Clinical Informatics, or a related field preferred.

+ Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $80.00 to $95.00/hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
