Logan Health Kid Kare is seeking a Full-Time Early Childhood Assistant Teacher to join our warm, energetic, and highly collaborative team!

What We’re Looking For

We’re searching for a caring, patient, and enthusiastic individual who is passionate about early childhood development. Our ideal candidate is:

+ Positive, dependable, and emotionally intelligent

+ Attentive to each child’s needs, strengths, and unique background

+ Creative, flexible, and able to adapt quickly

+ A strong communicator who works well in a team environment

Key Qualifications

+ Must be at least 18 years old

+ Associate’s degree in Early Childhood or Elementary Education preferred

+ Completion of Montana state-required early childhood training within 6 months of hire

+ Completion of STARS Assistant Teacher training within 12 months

+ CPR/AED certified or able to obtain within 30 days (training provided)

+ Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills

+ Genuine love for working with young children

About Our Center

Kid Kare and Kid Kare Infant Center are licensed by the state of Montana and rated STAR 3 in the STARS to Quality Program—reflecting our commitment to excellence.

We care for children ages 6 weeks to 6 years, serving Logan Health employees on a space-available basis. Our environment encourages exploration, self-sufficiency, curiosity, and early developmental milestones that set the foundation for lifelong learning.

What You’ll Be Doing

As an Assistant Teacher, you’ll play a meaningful role in supporting children during some of their most important developmental years. Daily responsibilities include:

Create a Safe, Engaging Environment

+ Maintain hazard-free play and learning areas

+ Promote cleanliness, health, and safety standards

+ Set up age-appropriate activities that spark curiosity and imagination

Support & Supervise Children

+ Ensure safety and emotional well-being at all times

+ Guide children through play, routines, and learning experiences

Encourage Lifelong Healthy Habits

+ Model and support positive habits around nutrition, exercise, and safety

Be a Collaborative Team Member

+ Partner with teachers and staff to plan activities and support classrooms

+ Mentor new staff and contribute to a positive workplace environment

Administrative Support

+ Assist with documentation, attendance tracking, and daily reports

Shift:

Day Shift - 10 Hours (United States of America)

Kid Kare Hours / Schedule: Monday - Friday | 6:30 a.m. - 6 p.m.

A flexible work schedule is required including holidays, overtime, weekend assignments, with the potential for assignments to alternative shifts.
