The Position

2026 Summer Intern -** **EFBAA Site Ops & Maintenance

Department Summary

As an intern working under the guidance of the Plant Engineer, you will be exposed to various aspects of facility management and engineering in a regulated cGxP environment.

This internship position is located in** **Pleasanton, CA, On-site

The Opportunity

This internship offers valuable hands-on experience in facilities engineering and management, providing opportunities for learning and professional development. Additional responsibilities may be assigned to enhance your overall internship experience.

+ Contribute to defining projects and developing innovative solutions.

+ Participate in the development of project documentation.

+ Assist in the implementation of engineering changes/additions.

+ Learn to represent the site as a Facilities Subject Matter Expert (SME) on capital projects.

+ Assist in identifying energy savings opportunities.

Program Highlights

+ Intensive 12-weeks, full-time (40 hours per week) paid internship.

+ Program start dates are in May/June (Summer)

+ A stipend, based on location, will be provided to help alleviate costs associated with the internship.

+ Ownership of challenging and impactful business-critical projects.

+ Work with some of the most talented people in the biotechnology industry.

Who You Are (Required)

**Required Education:** You meet one of the following criteria:

+ Must be pursuing a Bachelor's Degree (enrolled student).

**Required Majors:** An engineering discipline (Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical preferred)

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications

+ Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.

+ Complements our culture and the standards that guide our daily behavior & decisions: Integrity, Courage, and Passion.

The expected hourly rate for this position based on the primary location for this position of Pleasanton, CA is $26/hr - $33/hr. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, level, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance.
