GGB is located in Thorofare, New Jersey. We are looking for a Manual Machinist to join the GGB Team!

Pay Rate: $40.82 per hour plus $2.07 for shift differential.

Shift Hours: Monday through Friday 3:30pm - 11:40pm. Overtime is required based on business need.

Job duties include but are not limited to:

+ Able to operate manual mills and manual lathes

+ Operate CNC mills and lathes (into to CNC programming)

+ Able to identify the proper cutting tools for high speed steel material & processes

+ Understanding of punch and die operation

+ Understand how to run machine shop equipment (sanders, grinders, etc.)

+ Proficiency in cutting tool geometry

+ Machine tolerances of .0002

+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints

+ Understand the process of setting up die components, follow procedures and troubleshoot existing dies

+ Able to utilize basic measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, etc.)

+ Able to operate standards in safety

+ Support team members in their internal & external activities with other processes

+ Other duties as assigned

Qualifications Required:

+ High School diploma or equivalent

+ Able to lift up to 35 lbs.

+ Former formal training for a vocational or craft (vocational school, certificate, etc.) or 2+ years of experience working in a machine shop.
