Job Summary

As a Securities Based Lending Specialist in the Securities Based Lending team, you play a key role in supporting clients by structuring and managing credit solutions. You work closely with market partners to deliver high-quality lending services, ensuring transactions align with risk and credit standards. Your contributions help maintain the firm's reputation for excellence and support our commitment to responsible lending.

Job Responsibilities

+ Analyze client investment portfolios and structure securities-based lending transactions

+ Price, risk-grade, and document lines of credit, term loans, and standby letters of credit

+ Review and approve new deals, amendments, and annual reviews within credit authority

+ Provide guidance to market partners on client needs and credit solutions

+ Ensure compliance with credit policies and risk management standards

+ Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless client service

+ Maintain accurate records and documentation for all transactions

+ Monitor portfolio performance and identify potential risks

+ Support ongoing process improvements and efficiency initiatives

+ Communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders

+ Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent prior experience

+ Three years of private banking, asset management, or credit/lending experience

+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills

+ Good organizational skills and ability to work independently

+ General understanding of financial markets and securities industry

+ Ability to work well in an integrated team environment

+ Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

+ Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting

+ Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity

+ Eligibility to work in the region/country of the role

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

+ Experience with securities-based lending products

+ Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills

+ Familiarity with credit risk assessment tools

+ Prior experience in a high-volume lending environment

+ Knowledge of regulatory requirements for lending

+ Ability to adapt to changing business needs
