    Overview

    **Job Title:** Controls Engineer 3

    **Location:** Tysons, VA

    Responsibilities

    **Job Description:** Originate design documents for small projects and in support of large programs. Narrative Design Documents and Requirements Analysis. Subsystem Designs (CAD, Panels, Layouts, Wiring, SCADA Screens, Hardware, Communications). Lead programming/configuration team efforts for complex automation and SCADA applications. Program, configure, troubleshoot PLCs, RTUs, and/or HMI systems. Author test reports and originate test procedures. Development of test fixtures and simulation devices. Perform Factory and Field Testing. Prepare cost estimates and supporting documents for small projects. Assist senior engineers in preparation of Bids and Proposals cost estimates and supporting documentation. Evaluation and pricing of change orders. Assign tasks and coordinate with Technical Staff. Position in Tysons, VA and other worksite YTBD in the state of Virginia.

    Qualifications

    **Requirements:** Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field **-plus-** 2 years of experience as a Controls Engineer 3 or in any related occupation
