    Summary You will serve as a STAFF DIRECTOR in the Naval Audit Service of NAVAUDSVC HQ WASHINGTON DC. Responsibilities You will monitor organizational progress by identifying performance trends, resource constraints, and operational challenges, and recommending solutions that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of Naval Audit Service operations. You will identify communication gaps and systemic barriers that impede coordination across the organization, and develop strategies to improve alignment, information flow, and collaboration with internal teams and external commands and agencies. You will recommend approaches and corrective actions to address communication barriers and operational concerns involving internal stakeholders and partner organizations. You will lead complex program planning efforts, including the development, integration, and execution of major initiatives, ensuring milestones, deliverables, and requirements are met. You will conduct strategic assessments, formulate enterprise-level planning documents, and analyze mission-aligned performance metrics to identify programmatic risks, improvement opportunities, and areas requiring action by leadership. You will identify systemic issues, competing priorities, and program deficiencies, and initiate or direct corrective or preventive measures to resolve high-impact organizational challenges. You will develop and recommend corrective or preventive strategies that drive mission outcomes and promote unified direction across the Naval Audit Service. You will collaborate with senior Naval Audit Service leaders to establish, execute, and track organizational objectives, milestones, and performance indicators, ensuring integration with DON and NAVAUDSVC strategic priorities. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-14 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience as primary advisor and strategic liaison, experience leading complex program planning, identifying systemic deficiencies, and developing corrective measures, and experience analyzing performance metrics, assessing programmatic risks, and formulating enterprise-wide plans.
