    **Schedule:** Full Time

    **Shift** : Monday - Wednesday 7:30 - 5 at One Health Park and Fridays 7:30 - 5 at the Hospital

    **Location:** One Health Park Drive Hendersonville, NC and cover additional sites in Hendersonville for callouts (106 Henderson Crossing Plaza or 23 Turtle Creek Drive.)

    The role you'll contribute:

    Performs Radiographic imaging procedures.

     

    Cross train into CT, MRI or Mammography as needed.

     

    Positions patient and equipment and selects technical factors to produce radiographic images meeting Radiologists standards, in a safe, timely manner.

     

    Processes radiographs, with correct patient demographic and examination information.

     

    Uses computer to enter and access patient information correctly and change procedure status and billing.

     

    Performs clerical duties, including answering telephones, completing patient record, filing and scheduling.

     

    Utilizes department computer system as needed for patient record keeping and scheduling.

     

    Positions, moves, and assists patients as needed to properly and safely complete Radiographs, to assist others to and from, as well as within the department or to assist patient movement.

     

    Moves, positions and manipulates stationary Radiographic equipment in order to safely complete requested procedure.

     

    Selects proper technical factors and operates equipment in a safe and effective manner, with proper attention to radiation, electrical and mechanical safety.

     

    Performs direct patient care duties, within technologists scope of practice. Utilizes proper infection control techniques.

     

    Performs basic patient care, including monitoring of patient condition, caring for patient comfort, safety and privacy. Obtains and documents patient history and explains procedures.

     

    Documents care received within the department. Maintains clean, well-stocked work area.

     

    Performs Radiographic imaging procedures. Positions, moves, and assists patients. Performs clerical duties. Performs basic patient care within scope of practice and to departmental standards.

    The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:

    + Graduate of an accredited 2-year Allied Health program Required

    + ARRT Radiography Certification or specific modality Required

    + BCLS - Basic Life Support Current American Heart Association Required
