Job Overview
Fabricator Needed in Manchester, IA
$20/hour, plus 15% Shift Premium
Night Shift: M - Th, 3:30pm - 1:30am
20-minute paid lunch, OT possible/mandatory on Fridays
Responsible for setting up and operating the equipment/machinery in Fabrication to include press brake, saws, drills, single station punch, Webb, and other assigned equipment.
Duties and Requirements
+ Read blueprints, use a tape measure, and protractor
+ Set up and operate machines listed above
+ Ability to calculate tonnage for punching and sheering and perform shop math
+ Knowledge of types and gauges of steel
+ Familiarity with weld, assembly processes
General Must Haves:
+ High School Diploma/Equivalent and 1,000 hours of trade school
+ Previous experience in manufacturing setting and fabrication experience
+ Must be willing to work in a team environment and learn new skills
+ Ability to lift/push up to 50 lbs.
+ Ability to bend, lift, stand for full shift
+ Must be able to pass drug screening
+ Must have longevity in prior roles
