    Medical Records Clerk – part-time

     

    Hospice of Dubuque has been serving the tri-state area for over 42 years, with compassionate, high quality healthcare for individuals in the final chapter of life.

     

    Hospice of Dubuque is seeking a part-time **Medical Records Clerk** to join our team.

    The Medicare Records Clerk:

    + Reviews documentation for completeness prior to filing and ensures appropriate filing in each patient’s medical record.

    + Assures that all required components are present in each medical record.

    + May need to verify information via the agency’s electronic medical record.

    + Assists with the archiving of non-current clinical records.

    + Maintains strict confidentiality regarding all records and client information.

    + Makes copies and/or scans documents as needed and as directed.

    + Performs other clerical duties as assigned.

    Requirements:

    + High School Diploma required. Some college preferred.

    + One year of healthcare experience preferred.

    + Knowledge of medical records highly recommended.

    + Attention to detail and accuracy required.

     

    Competitive wages. 15—20 hours per week. Weekdays only.
