    Job Overview

    Description:

    Sedona Staffing of Cedar Rapids is seeking a temporary Lab Technician for a Cedar Rapids production facility. This position will last up to 1 year.

     

    Hours: 1st shift | 20-30 hours per week | Monday-Friday

     

    Wage: $20 per hour

    This position requires a candidate that has:

    + Associate Degree in Science or related field

    + 3+ years’ laboratory experience or combination of education and experience

    + Strong attention to detail

    + Ability to work in both an office and production environment

    + Prior experience with various testing equipment

    + Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs

    Primary Duties will include:

    + Cutting of metals and other finished products for testing using shears and other cutting tools

    + Assist with material testing

    + Data Entry of results into spreadsheet

    + Other duties as assigned
