Responsibilities & Qualifications
The Program Manager will oversee complex and high-risk programs for TekSynap, ensuring alignment with federal training mandates and technological advancements. The successful candidate will manage project scopes, timelines, and resources in coordination with theclient’sstandards andTekSynap’soperational frameworks.
Responsibilities:
+ Managevery complexand/orhigh riskprograms
+ Provide technical,administrativeand operational leadership to assigned tasksand supervise assigned staff
+ Analyzehighly complexsystemsand network issues, providing expert guidance and actionable solutions to mitigate risks.
+ Recommend strategic plans of action for both Contractor and Government staff to effectively address identified challenges.
+ Manage Contractor teams supporting the resolution of issues, ensuringhigh standardsof performance and adherence to project goals.
+ Serve as the Contractor’s primary contact for the Customer's personnel,facilitatingall communications and ensuring alignment with clientobjectivesand compliance with all contractual requirements.
+ Coordinate and manage the execution of activities across multiple contractor teams, ensuring consistency with strategic goals and performance standards.
+ Actively engage in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of program activities to meet the strategic objectives of the client.
+ Develop andmaintainintegrated schedules and budgets, aligning with the client’s strategicobjectivesand operational needs.
+ Provide regular status updates to stakeholders, documenting and managing changes effectively to adapt to evolving requirements.
+ Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs,utilizingindustry best practices for scalable and secure outcomes.
+ Identify, analyze, and mitigate project risks throughout the lifecycle to minimize impact on deliverables.
+ Upholdhigh standardsfor software development and information assurance, addressing potential vulnerabilities for data security and integrity.
Required Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology,Cybersecurityor related field.
+ Minimum of 8 years of relevantInformation technologyexperience, including three years of experience in a management or supervisory capacity plus three years of experience in the functional area of the project to be managed.
+ Experience managing contractor teams and interfacing with government staff to resolve issues. This is essential for the role's focus on project and team management.
+ Demonstrated ability to serve as a primary contact for client interactions, ensuring effective communication and project alignment.
+ Strong project management skills, withdemonstratedability to manage scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
+ Ability to pass a rigorous Customer Specific Background Investigation. This is a standard requirementgiventhe sensitive nature of the work.
Desired Qualifications:
+ Advanced degree (Master’sor higher) inEngineering, ComputerScienceor a related field.
+ Professional certifications such as CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional), CISM (Certified Information Security Manager),and/or PMP (Project Management Professional).
+ Experience with Agile methodologies, with certifications such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP).
+ Demonstrated leadership in high-pressure environments, with a history of making critical decisions that lead to successful outcomes.
+ Experience in federal government projects,particularly incybersecurity and IT service management.
