Job Title: Fitter/Welder
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Fitter/Welder to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for fitting and assembling metal parts using various welding techniques, and ensuring that all work meets high-quality standards.
Responsibilities
+ Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications.
+ Fit and assemble metal parts using welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, Flux, and Sub Arc.
+ Perform layout, cutting, grinding, and finishing of materials.
+ Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met.
+ Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work environment.
+ Follow all safety protocols and company procedures.
Essential Skills
+ Experience as a fitter/welder in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
+ Proficiency in MIG, Flux, and Sub Arc welding processes.
+ Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
+ Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
+ High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Ability to perform different welding tests, including a 3G weld test on a plate using MIG and Flux, or a 6G pipe test using MIG and Flux.
+ Experience with TIG welding, stainless steel, structural steel, sub arc, and stick welding.

Work Environment
Work in a semi-climate-controlled environment. The schedule is Monday to Friday from 6 am to 4:30 pm, with some Saturdays required. Be prepared for a good amount of overtime to meet project demands.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Owasso, OK.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $32.00/hr.
