Job Title: Injection Molding Setup Technician
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Injection Molding Setup Technician to join our team. This role involves setting up tools, maintaining documentation, and ensuring the quality of production through regular visual inspections. Ideal candidates will have a strong mechanical aptitude and experience in injection molding processes.
Responsibilities
+ Setup tools and maintain required documentation according to work order/traveler.
+ Monitor quality by performing two visual checks each shift and adjust machines that are not producing compliant parts.
+ Perform all setup, troubleshooting, cleaning, and changing of tools for injection mold machines.
+ Perform operations and documentation, and report to the supervisor.
+ Take initiative to eventually assume a lead role for the 2nd shift.
+ Other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
+ 2+ years of injection molding setup experience.
+ Ability to lift up to 75 lbs as needed.
+ Mechanically inclined with strong troubleshooting skills.
+ Experience with machine setup, tooling, and plastic processing.
+ Proficient in using hand tools and performing inspections.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Previous leadership experience is ideal but not necessarily required (can be professional or personal).

Work Environment
Work in a well-ventilated and temperature-controlled manufacturing shop with clean room and non-clean room operations. The environment has minimal odors typical of molding shops. Join a team with about 80 employees, where the owner actively engages with all staff, fostering a family-like atmosphere. This role is for the 2nd shift, operating from 1:30 PM to 10 PM, Monday through Friday, with training initially conducted on the 1st shift.

This is a Permanent position based out of St Paul, MN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr.
