    Job Title: Trim Carpenter

    Job Description

    We are seeking a versatile trim carpenter who excels in a variety of carpentry tasks, not limited to a single specialization. You will be working on unique projects, including crafting an intricate wooden wall resembling basketball court material. Your role will encompass all aspects of carpentry from conceptual development to project completion. You should be adept in formwork, rough carpentry, and proficient with power tools. The role also requires compliance with company policies and OSHA guidelines.

    Responsibilities

    + Operate and maintain construction equipment.

    + Assist equipment operators, carpenters, and skilled labor as needed.

    + Prepare construction sites by clearing obstacles and hazards.

    + Handle loading and unloading of materials.

    + Assemble and dismantle temporary structures, like scaffolding.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficient in carpentry, framing, and finish carpentry.

    + Skilled in using hand and power tools.

    + Knowledgeable in drywall and general labor tasks.

    + Strong organizational skills with goal-setting abilities.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Ability to stand, climb, bend, and kneel for prolonged periods.

    + Capability to safely operate sharp tools and power equipment.

    + Adaptability to work in diverse weather conditions and terrains.

    + Possess manual dexterity, balance, and excellent hand-eye coordination.

    + Demonstrate physical strength, stamina, and balance for various job tasks.

    Work Environment

     

    You will primarily work on commercial new builds, engaging in tasks from trim, rough, and finish carpentry to assisting with pre-engineered metal structures. Flexibility is key as the primary location is Lincoln, with potential travel to surrounding job sites.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Omaha, NE.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $30.00/hr.
