Job Title: Assembly Worker

Job Description

Join our team as an assembly worker in an industrial manufacturing environment. You will utilize various hand tools, power tools, and small machinery to perform assembly tasks in a team setting. Your work will involve assembling products according to Standard Work Documentation, Manufacturing Instructions, and Quality Plans within the cell. Depending on your experience, you may also engage in electrical assembly and soldering. Testing bearings and assembling actuators for clients such as Bobcat and Mercury Marine are key tasks. Products to be assembled weigh 30 pounds or less.

Responsibilities

+ Perform assembly tasks using hand tools, power tools, and small machinery.

+ Assemble products following Standard Work Documentation and Quality Plans.

+ Conduct electrical assembly and soldering as needed.

+ Test bearings by running them through thread rolls.

+ Assemble actuators for various clients.

+ Ensure all products assembled are 30 pounds or under.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in using hand and power tools.

+ Mechanical assembly skills.

+ Ability to lift and handle assembly components.

+ Experience in inspection and quality control.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Previous experience in a manufacturing setting is preferred but not required.

+ Strong work ethic, reliability, and attendance.

+ Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Garden Prairie, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
