    Job Title: Environmental Superintendent

    Job Description

    As an Environmental Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations at various environmental project sites, ensuring safety and productivity. You will lead safety meetings, manage project scopes, assign tasks to team members, and conduct equipment inspections. You will also be involved in data collection and may operate heavy equipment as needed. Additionally, you will handle expense reports using proprietary software and ensure meticulous communication on-site.

    Responsibilities

    + Lead daily safety tail gate meetings and outline the scope of work and plan for the day.

    + Assign tasks to team members, such as digging and excavating.

    + Conduct equipment inspections and take daily field notes.

    + Manage equipment rental and vendor needs.

    + Operate equipment like skid steers, backhoes, and dump trucks when necessary.

    + Ensure meticulous communication and detail orientation on site.

    + Complete expense reports and salary management through proprietary Oracle software.

    Essential Skills

    + OSHA 40 certification

    + Hazwoper certification

    + 5 years of experience in environmental, remediation, or underground/heavy civil work

    + Heavy equipment operator experience, including skid steers and dump trucks

    + Experience with radioactive materials

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Traveling Superintendent experience across Bay Area, LA, Washington, and nationally

    + Possession of REAL ID, TWIC, or Passport for access to military bases

    + Clean DMV record with 2 points or less

    + Asbestos or lead training

    + Confined space supervisory role

    + OSHA30 certification

    + Construction Quality Management (CQM) training

    Work Environment

     

    Work involves radioactive and other environmental sites, with travel required throughout the West Coast and occasionally nationally. Superintendents are strategically placed based on their strengths to manage projects ranging from $500k to $10m, overseeing crews of 4 to 15 members.

    This is a Permanent position based out of Livermore, CA.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $120000.00/yr.

     

    Medical, Dental and Vision. 401k with match. Direct Hire.

     

    Workplace Type

     

    This is a fully onsite position in Livermore,CA.
