1st Shift: $26.07/hr

2nd Shift: $26.07/hr

3rd Shift (Friday–Sunday, 2:00 PM – 2:00 AM): $27.06/hr

Now Hiring: Warehouse Operator – Viking Materials, Inc.

Viking Materials, Inc., a steel distribution center owned by Reliance Steel, is seeking motivated individuals to join our warehouse operations team. This is an excellent opportunity to grow within a leading national company.

Available Shifts:

1st Shift: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (Training conducted on this shift)

2nd Shift: Monday–Thursday, 2:30 PM – 12:55 AM

3rd Shift: Friday–Sunday, 2:00 PM – 2:00 AM (Weekend shift with premium pay)

Job Responsibilities:

Operate overhead cranes and sit-down forklifts

Cut and process metal coils using saws and cutting equipment

Read and follow work orders

Perform shipping, receiving, packaging, and bundling tasks

Maintain cleanliness and safety in the work area

Meet daily production and quality goals

Required Skills & Experience:

1–2 years of manufacturing or warehouse experience

Forklift operation experience (required)

Overhead crane experience (preferred)

Ability to read tape measures and perform accurate measurements

Comfortable working in a heavy industrial environment

Additional Skills:

Skid building

RF scanner usage

Material handling and picking

Steel manufacturing knowledge

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Candidates must have warehouse experience in a heavy industrial environment. Candidates must have tape measure experience as they will QC all the product and a keen attention to detail for various sizes of metal products. Will also help in building skids at times.

Candidate must have forklift experience and overhead crane experience is a plus
