Job Title: Racker

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Racker to join our team in Plant 1. In this role, you will be responsible for racking metal parts and preparing them for powder coating. This position involves picking parts and hanging them on racks, inspecting parts visually for quality, and entering completed work orders into the computer system. You will also work closely with management to ensure smooth production flow.

Responsibilities

+ Rack metal parts for powder coating.

+ Inspect parts visually for quality assurance.

+ Enter completed work orders into the computer system.

+ Collaborate with management to ensure production flows smoothly.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in racking, packaging, and general production.

+ Proficiency in material handling and inspection.

+ High attention to safety and detail.

+ Ability to multitask effectively.

+ Ability to lift between 30-50 lbs repetitively.

+ Ability to read and follow basic work instructions.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Comfortable performing tedious tasks.

Join a metal plating company with 100 employees spread over three plants. Work in an industrial environment focused on plating and coating metal parts. Experience varying temperatures, with warm conditions in the summer and colder conditions in some departments during the winter.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Portland, OR.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.65 - $21.65/hr.
