    Job Title: CNC Programmer and Operator

    Job Description

    As a CNC Programmer and Operator, you will be responsible for developing and optimizing CNC programs specifically for extrusion tooling solutions. This role requires programming CNC mills and wire EDM machines to ensure precision and efficiency in tooling production. You will read and interpret technical drawings, select appropriate cutting tools, and troubleshoot any issues during the manufacturing process.

    Responsibilities

    + Develop and optimize CNC programs for extrusion tooling solutions.

    + Program CNC mills and wire EDM machines.

    + Read and interpret technical drawings.

    + Select appropriate cutting tools for specific tasks.

    + Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during manufacturing.

    + Ensure precision and efficiency in tooling production.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in CNC programming software (e.g., CAM systems, G-code).

    + Ability to interpret technical drawings.

    + Knowledge of CNC machining processes.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with preventative maintenance and troubleshooting of machinery.

    + Familiarity with manufacturing, mechanical, electrical, and PLC systems.

    + Skills in CAD, AutoCAD, design, machining, and SolidWorks.

    + Ability to work independently and make real-time decisions.

    Work Environment

     

    The work environment includes two buildings with high temperatures, especially during summer, reaching up to 110 degrees. The culture encourages independence and aggressive problem-solving. The dress code consists of long pants and a work shirt. Shifts are Monday to Friday, with hours from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm or 9:00 am to 5:30 pm, and occasional overtime.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Scranton, PA.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
