    Construction Laborer

    Job Description

    A Construction Laborer working on Pre-Engineered Metal Buildings (PEMB) is responsible for assisting in the assembly, installation, and maintenance of metal structures. This role involves a variety of tasks that require physical strength, technical skills, and attention to detail. You will be expected to cut material, stage material, and bolt the material into place based on blueprints.

    Responsibilities

    + Assist in the assembly, installation, and maintenance of metal structures.

    + Cut, stage, and bolt materials as per blueprints.

    + Operate tools such as pry bars, tin snips, pliers, ratchets, spud wrenches, hammers, levels, and speed squares.

    + Work safely from scissor lifts while adhering to all OSHA regulations, including the use of PPE and harnesses.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in welding and fabrication.

    + Knowledge of Pre-Engineered Metal Buildings.

    + Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

    + Familiarity with structural steel and welding techniques.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + 2+ years of general construction experience.

    + Experience using hand tools and power tools.

    + Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

    + Welding experience is beneficial but not required.

    Work Environment

     

    Work from Monday to Friday, 7 AM to 4:30 PM, with 2-5 hours of overtime expected weekly. You will be working out in the field on various structures, ensuring a dynamic and engaging work setting.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Omaha, NE.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $24.00/hr.
