Job Title: Material Handler
Job Description
The Material Handler is responsible for conducting regular cycle counts and inventory audits to maintain accurate stock levels. This role involves updating records using warehouse management systems and operating equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks to facilitate the movement of goods. Maintaining cleanliness and organization within the warehouse is essential to adhering to hygiene and safety standards.
Responsibilities
+ Conduct regular cycle counts and inventory audits.
+ Update records using warehouse management systems (WMS).
+ Safely operate warehouse machinery such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
+ Maintain cleanliness and organization in the warehouse.
+ Adhere to hygiene and safety standards.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in material handling and inventory management.
+ Ability to safely operate equipment like forklifts, pallet jacks, and reach trucks.
+ Experience with loading, unloading, and packing.
+ Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes.
+ Familiarity with RF scanners and inventory control.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with order picking and general warehouse labor.
+ Ability to perform heavy lifting.
+ Skills in using RF scan guns.
+ Experience in operating stand-up forklifts.

Work Environment
This position is based in a warehouse environment, which requires adherence to safety and hygiene standards. You will be working with various equipment and machinery, and the role involves physical activity, including heavy lifting.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bellingham, MA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
