Job Title: Deburring Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a meticulous Deburring Technician responsible for removing sharp edges, burrs, and other imperfections from metal aircraft components. This hands-on role requires a keen eye for detail and the use of various tools and equipment to ensure the highest quality standards in the aerospace industry.
Responsibilities
+ Remove sharp edges, burrs, and imperfections from metal aircraft components using hand and power tools.
+ Utilize small power tools, such as deburr guns and small grinders, to smooth part edges.
+ Work with larger parts like skins and spars using air-powered die grinders.
+ Follow customer specifications when finishing parts, ensuring compliance with manufacturers' requirements.
+ Read and interpret blueprints and work instructions to determine finishing requirements.
+ Perform quality inspections to ensure that parts meet specified dimensions and finish.
+ Maintain accurate documentation and paperwork for completed jobs.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in using hand tools and small power tools for deburring.
+ Experience working with air-powered die grinders on larger parts.
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work instructions.
+ Strong attention to detail to ensure precision and quality.
+ Capability to perform quality inspections and maintain documentation.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Mechanical aptitude with experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
+ Basic math skills, including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
+ Familiarity with aerospace industry standards is advantageous.

This is a Contract position based out of Aurora, OR.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
