Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician with extensive knowledge in commercial facilities maintenance. This role requires expertise in electrical, plumbing, and carpentry tasks. The ideal candidate will work independently at client locations, occasionally collaborating with team members.
Responsibilities
+ Perform electrical tasks such as replacing light bulbs and ballasts, rewiring fixtures for LED bulbs, and replacing outlets and switches.
+ Execute plumbing duties including replacing toilets, using commercial snakes, changing flush valve parts, and working with water heaters.
+ Conduct carpentry tasks like door repairs, hardware replacement, and painting.
+ Assist other departments within the company as needed.
+ Travel regularly throughout southeastern Wisconsin, with occasional overnight stays.
Essential Skills
+ 5+ years facilities maintenance experience
+ 2+ years commercial experience
+ 2+ years in HVAC, plumbing, electrical troubleshooting, carpentry, drywall, and painting
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Technical diploma in mechanical or facilities preferred

Work Environment
Standard hours are 8 am-5 pm with travel to customer sites primarily within an hour's distance, extending to Green Bay or Chicago as needed. Occasional overnight stays are required. A company vehicle and tools are provided. The dress code includes steel-toed shoes, jeans, and a plain t-shirt or polo shirt, with additional PPE required at some sites. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and perform overhead work.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of West Bend, WI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
