    Job Title: General Production Worker

    Job Description

    The Production Technician I is responsible for ensuring that the packaging requirements of the finished product lines are met in accordance with the plant production schedule and other established operating parameters and performance measures. This role also involves performing additional duty assignments as required.

    Responsibilities

    + Operate all processes safely and in compliance with HSE rules and regulations.

    + Set up, prepare, and monitor machines and equipment used for packaging.

    + Operate equipment such as hand bagger, Robot/Palletizer, automated bagger, heat sealer, sifters, and other necessary machinery.

    + Package boxes, sacks, and cartons.

    + Construct empty packaging containers.

    + Maintain good housekeeping standards.

    + Participate in HSE activities and plant safety programs such as Behavioral Based Safety (BBS), hazard identification, near misses, safety work orders, and job safety analysis.

    + Engage in safety training programs, including computer-based safety training.

    Essential Skills

    + General labor and production skills.

    + Ability to work swing shifts from 7am to 7pm, switching to night shifts.

    + High School Diploma is required.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience as a Forklift Operator is advantageous.

    Work Environment

     

    The role operates on a swing shift schedule, alternating between day and night shifts, with a pattern of working 7 days on followed by 7 days off. The work environment emphasizes safety, with active participation in safety programs and adherence to HSE regulations being a priority.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Augusta, GA.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
