General Labor Production -- Weekly Pay -- $19 per hour
Job Description
Join our team as a General Labor Production worker where you will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and efficiency in our grain handling operations. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure assigned areas are kept clean, along with performing a variety of tasks that support our production process.
Responsibilities
+ Shovel and scoop grain dust to maintain cleanliness.
+ Load and unload grain cars efficiently.
+ Operate wheel loaders safely and effectively.
+ Utilize computer systems to process and record data accurately.
+ Perform general housekeeping duties such as sweeping, dusting, and shoveling to keep equipment and areas clean.
+ Assist the maintenance team as needed to ensure smooth operations.
+ Assist with railcar loading and unloading processes.
+ Handle grain and feed with care and attention to detail.
Essential Skills
+ Minimum of 6+ months experience in an outdoor position, dealing with elements such as dust and dirt.
+ At least 1 year of general labor experience in an industrial setting.
+ Ability to lift up to 75lbs.
+ Capability to stand for 8-10 hours a day.
+ Comfortable working at heights of up to 10 feet, particularly on grain bins with grated floors.
+ No allergies to soybean products.
Work Environment
You will be working on an industrial site that resembles a farm environment, surrounded by large buildings, grain bins, and extensive equipment. The role involves day time hours from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, with the possibility of working other shifts or rotating shifts once hired. The team size ranges from 5 to 7 members on the sanitation grain handler team. The dress code includes steel-toed boots, jeans, and long-sleeve t-shirts for safety. You will work independently and are expected to stay proactive and engaged.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lincoln, NE.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
