    Job Description -Respiratory Department

     

    Assists in the maintenance of all sterile equipment in the respiratory department. Adheres to all State and Federal regulations regarding equipment maintenance.

    Job Responsibility

    + Troubleshoots, calibrates, maintains and where needed, disinfects equipment per manufacturer's recommended procedures.

    + Performs manufacturer recommended preventive maintenance Maintains accurate records of all repairs and maintenance performed on equipment.

    + Obtains required consent before performing any modifications to medical, water treatment, plumbing or wiring equipment.

    + Ensures inventory levels of supplies, tools and test equipment on equipment are maintained and initiates replacement orders, as required.

    + Performs safety testing on all equipment.

    + Performs tanks delivery and collection in accordance with policy.

    Job Qualification

    + High School Diploma or equivalent required.

    + No experience required.

    + Current student in a respiratory care program, highly preferred.

    The salary range for this position is $29,250-$42,761/year
