HR Assistant / HR CoordinatorPosition Overview
We are seeking an experienced HR Assistant/Coordinator to join our small but dynamic HR team. This role will work closely with the HR Director and play a key part in recruiting, onboarding, and HR data management. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about supporting a mission-driven organization.
Key Responsibilities
+ Manage full-cycle recruiting, including posting jobs, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, and assisting with selection.
+ Coordinate onboarding processes for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition and compliance with company policies.
+ Maintain employee records and update HR systems.
+ Provide administrative support to the HR Director and assist with special projects.
+ Ensure compliance with employment laws and internal policies.
Qualifications
+ 2+ years of HR experience, preferably in recruiting and onboarding.
+ Strong knowledge of HR processes and data management.
+ Excellent communication and organizational skills.
+ Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
+ Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Diego, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $29.81 - $32.21/hr.
