We’re seeking an experienced Observability Engineer/Architect to lead the design and automation of full-stack observability solutions across enterprise environments. This role focuses on network, application, and infrastructure monitoring, leveraging tools like Catalyst Center, ThousandEyes, Grafana, and custom automation frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

Architect and implement integrated observability solutions for large-scale environments.

Drive automation using Catalyst Center APIs, Python, Ansible, and Terraform.

Deploy and optimize ThousandEyes for synthetic and real-user monitoring.

Build Grafana dashboards for performance analytics and actionable insights.

Define SLOs/SLIs, troubleshoot incidents, and mentor engineering teams.

Required Qualifications:

10+ years in enterprise networking/systems/cloud engineering; 3–5+ years in observability and automation leadership.

Hands-on expertise with Catalyst Center, ThousandEyes, Grafana.

Strong automation skills (Python, Ansible, Terraform) and API integrations.

Proven success in large-scale deployments and team mentorship.

Preferred:

Relevant certifications (Cisco Observability, AWS/Azure monitoring).

Experience with cloud networking, security monitoring, and hybrid environments.

This is a Contract position based out of Los Angeles, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $85.00 - $110.00/hr.
