    Job Summary

    The Warehouse Associate reports to the Warehouse Manager. Responsibilities focus on performing various functions, including receiving and processing incoming stock and materials; picking and filling orders from stock; serving as the point of contact for facility maintenance needs; packing and shipping orders; or managing, organizing, and retrieving stock in the warehouse.\#Miller #LI-JG1

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities

    + Prepare orders by processing requests and supply orders, pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in the delivery area

    + Process and deliver regular mail and shipped items

    + Assistshipping and receiving, unloading trucks, and checking in merchandise

    + Completes deliveries by driving truck or van to and from vendors

    + Serve as the point of contact for maintenance issues that arise at the facility

    + Maintain inventory controls by collecting stock location orders, printing requests, recording amounts of materials or items received or distributed through a computer

    + Assistin counting physical inventory

    + Maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet areas, and workstations neat; Sweep, dust, and mop.Organize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times.

    + Complete reports by entering the required information

    + Maintain technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing publications

    Qualifications

    REQUIRED:

    + HS Diploma or equivalent

    + Ability to communicate effectively (both orally and in writing) with diverse individuals and to consistently handle interpersonal situations in a professional and respectful manner

    + Excellent organizational ability to prioritize, organize workload, and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously and to meet deadlines

    + Detail oriented and the ability to provideaccuratedocumentation

    + Solid knowledge of Google Apps platform and the ability to learn new software applications and computer programs

    Preferred:

    College degree
