Tech Architect - Java

About the role

As a **Tech Architect** , you will make an impact by driving the design and implementation of technical solutions for large-scale enterprise systems. You will be a valued member of our technology delivery team and work collaboratively with product owners, project managers, and development teams across onsite and offshore locations.

In this role, you will:

+ Prepare and review high-level and low-level design documents (HLD/LLD).

+ Define and validate technical solutions to ensure alignment with product requirements.

+ Lead technical discussions and collaborate with subject matter experts to translate business needs into technical solutions.

+ Guide onsite and offshore development teams through implementation and troubleshooting.

+ Partner with the offshore project manager to assign tasks and optimize resource utilization.

+ Act as the escalation point for technical issues and team impediments.

What you need to have to be considered

+ 10+ years of experience leading development of large-scale enterprise systems.

+ Proven experience in technology modernization projects.

+ Hands-on expertise in Java/J2EE tech stack with exposure to micro front-end architecture.

+ Experience working with JIRA for project tracking and collaboration.

These will help you stand out

+ Strong leadership and communication skills to manage cross-functional teams.

+ Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues under tight deadlines.

+ Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
