    Special Education Teacher | Green Bay, WI | $55/hr | Full-Time | 9-Month Contract

     

    Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking Special Education Teachers to provide quality services to students in grades K–12 within the Green Bay Area Public School District for the 2025–2026 school year.

    Position Details

    + Location: Green Bay, WI

    + Start Date: December 15, 2025

    + End Date: End of 2025–2026 school year

    + Duration: 9 months

    + Schedule: Monday–Friday | Typical school shift

    + Hours: 40 hrs/week

    + Modality: In-person

    + Pay Rate: $55/hr

    + Openings: 5 positions

    + Specialties:

    + 3 Elementary School

    + 1 Early Childhood SPED

    + 1 Middle School

    Essential Duties

    + Prepare and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)

    + Design instruction aligned with general education curriculum

    + Coordinate IEP implementation and monitor student progress

    + Maintain accurate student records and compliance with district policies

    + Mentor and support teaching assistants

    + Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and students

    + Support students in life skills and grade transitions

    Requirements

    + Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university (preferred)

    + Active Wisconsin Cross-Categorical SPED DPI certification required

    + Minimum 1 year teaching experience (preferred)

    + Current CPR certification (if applicable)

    + TB questionnaire, PPD or chest X-ray (if applicable)

    + Current health certificate (per contract/state regulation)

    + Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

    + Must be at least 18 years of age
