    JOB SCOPE:

    * Install, troubleshoot, maintain and repair all types of simple to complex industrial electronic equipment, machinery and instrumentation\. In addition, install, repair and maintain instrumentation in the heat\-treating area\. Utilize electronic testing equipment, schematic prints, wiring diagrams, handbooks, formulae, blueprints and charts to locate and repair malfunctions or install components\.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    * Perform other duties inherently required of the job classification\.

    * Perform assigned work in a safety conscious manner\.

    * Perform assigned work to specified quality and production standards\.

    * Maintain equipment and tools used by the individual in a clean condition\.

    * Perform assigned cleaning required to maintain individual's immediate work area in a clean condition\.

    * Prepare and/or maintain all documentation necessary to the duties of the job classification\.

    Qualifications

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    * High School Diploma or GED

    * Completion of apprenticeship as an electronic mechanic or electronic technician; or an associate degree, certificate program or trade school program in industrial electronics and two years’ experience as an electronic mechanic or electronic technician; or 4 years’ experience as an electronic mechanic or electronic technician\.
