    About the Role

     

    Stu’s Home Improvement Outlet is expanding fast and we’re looking for a driven, tech-savvy **Internet Sales & Content Specialist** to help us grow our online presence and boost sales. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment, loves creating content, and knows how to engage customers across multiple platforms.

    Key Responsibilities

    Online Sales & Listings

    + Photograph and post new arrivals daily across **Facebook Marketplace, Instagram, TikTok, and our Shopify store**

    + Write clear, accurate product descriptions

    + Update pricing, availability, and inventory as items sell

    + Promote special deals, events, and sales initiatives

    Customer Engagement

    + Respond to customer inquiries **quickly and professionally** during store hours and after hours (within reason)

    + Manage messages on **Facebook Messenger, Marketplace, Instagram DMs, TikTok comments** , and other platforms

    + Drive customers to visit the store or purchase online

    + Maintain a high standard of customer service and communication

    Content Creation & Branding

    + Film **daily videos** of new items, truckloads, behind-the-scenes activity, and in-store happenings

    + Create high-energy short-form content (Reels, TikTok, Shorts) showcasing deals and product features

    + Help strengthen Stu’s branding across all digital channels

    + Assist with organizing and hosting **daily live sales and promotional events**

    Store Support

    + Capture videos of customers picking up items, large deliveries, big-ticket arrivals, etc.

    + Support the owner with general digital tasks, simple office duties, and marketing needs

    + Work closely with sales staff to highlight priority items

    Requirements

    + Experience posting and selling on **Facebook Marketplace** and other online sales platforms

    + Strong phone, messaging, and customer service skills

    + Comfortable filming videos and being on camera when needed

    + Familiarity with **Google Workspace** (Drive, Docs, Sheets)

    + Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy retail environment

    + Reliable, dependable, and able to work weekends when needed

    + Must be able to respond to online messages promptly during store hours and after hours when assigned

    Preferred Skills

    + Social media content creation

    + Basic photo/video editing

    + Shopify, TikTok Shop, or eCommerce experience

    + Retail or sales background

     

    Schedule

     

    Full-time

     

    Must be available during store hours and occasionally after hours to respond to inquiries.
