Job Title: Electrical Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled MEP Engineer to join our dynamic team. The role involves designing power distribution systems, low voltage infrastructures, and lighting solutions. The engineer will also be responsible for calculating loads, fault currents, and voltage drops, as well as performing field surveys and providing construction phase support.
Responsibilities
+ Design power distribution systems, including riser diagrams and panel schedules.
+ Develop low voltage infrastructure designs for IT and security systems.
+ Execute lighting design, including fixture selection, controls, and calculations.
+ Implement low-voltage systems such as fire alarms, security, and controls.
+ Calculate electrical loads, fault currents, and voltage drops.
+ Conduct field surveys and support during the construction phase.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in Revit.
+ Experience in power distribution and low-voltage systems.
+ Knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and standard industry design practices.
+ 4+ years of relevant experience.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Engineer-In-Training (EIT) or Engineer Intern (EI) Certification.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Raytown, MO.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $48.00/hr.
