Job Title: Microparticle Immunoassay TechnicianJob Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely production of kits in accordance with Good Manufacturing Procedures and FDA requirements. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the quality and consistency of our products.

Responsibilities

+ Ensure the availability of all raw materials for production, including chemicals, antigens, serums, and plasmas.

+ Strictly follow and accurately complete procedures in accordance with FDA requirements, ensuring all documentation is up to date.

+ Participate in cycle counts and review kit data generated to ensure quality and consistency.

+ Assist Technical Services in troubleshooting problems and facilitate sample and kit testing in response to customer complaints or requirements.

+ Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations.

Essential Skills

+ Academic biology lab experience.

+ Experience in sample preparation and pipetting.

+ Familiarity with glassware, labware, and lab equipment.

+ Basic working knowledge of Biology, Microbiology, Immunology, and aseptic techniques.

+ Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations, including the creation of dilutions.

+ Proficiency in operating and maintaining machines such as the automated plate washer, reader, and pH meter.

+ Basic computer skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Associates or Bachelor's degree in Biology preferred.

+ Science experience background with required lab experience.

+ Ability to read and follow written directions.

+ Good laboratory practices to maintain a safe working environment.

Work Environment

The work schedule is Monday to Thursday from 6:30 am to 4:30 pm, and Friday from 7:15 am to 11:15 am, totaling a 35-hour workweek. The role requires a commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient laboratory environment, adhering to good laboratory practices.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hillsborough, NJ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
