Job Title: Assistant Project ManagerJob Description
We are seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join our team and manage several small to medium-sized tenant interior renovation projects. Project values range from $250,000 to $3 million. This role requires daily communication with superintendents, project assistants, and building owners through phone, text, and email. The position also involves soliciting bids from subcontractors and assisting in the preparation of estimates and proposals.
Responsibilities
+ Manage project finances and cost accounting using standard construction software.
+ Maintain project budgets and ensure they are met.
+ Establish and maintain relationships with construction and real estate professionals to support business development.
+ Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
+ Oversee multiple subcontractors and project teams.
+ Create and manage construction documents, including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and blueprints.
Essential Skills
+ Experience in construction project management.
+ Proficiency in managing RFIs, change orders, and construction management.
+ Competency in scheduling, budgeting, and subcontractor management.
+ Ability to coordinate commercial construction projects and handle construction documents.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in commercial construction.
+ Ability to manage multiple projects and teams effectively.
+ Strong communication skills for liaising with various stakeholders.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of COLUMBIA, MD.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $38.46 - $48.08/hr.
