Job Title: A&P Mechanic
Job Description
An organization with domestic locations is seeking a qualified aircraft mechanic for the Van Nuys, CA location. The aircraft mechanic will perform a variety of scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, and repairs on corporate business jets, primarily Falcons.
Responsibilities
+ Perform general to complex maintenance tasks on assigned aircraft and related systems.
+ Carry out aircraft mechanic duties requiring a strong level of repair knowledge and troubleshooting.
+ Examine, disassemble, and inspect engines, parts, or other components for wear, warping, breaks, leaks, or other deficiencies.
+ Read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals and specifications to determine feasibility and method of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components.
Essential Skills
+ A&P license is required.
+ 3+ years of experience performing maintenance on corporate aircraft.
+ Experience required on Falcon, Gulfstream, Bombardier, and Embraer aircraft.
+ Strong troubleshooting and repair knowledge.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Valid US driver's license is required.
+ Candidates must provide their own tools.

Work Environment
The position is based in a Part 145 hangar environment with swing and day shifts available.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Los Angeles, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $55.00/hr.
