    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our team in Moscow, Iowa, working the 1st shift from Monday to Friday. The focus of this role is to service and repair RVs of all makes and models, ensuring top performance and reliability. The ideal candidate will possess experience in mechanical, hydraulic, and low-voltage electrical systems, along with the capability to perform light MIG welding as required.

    Responsibilities

    + Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and low-voltage electrical systems on RVs.

    + Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure optimal performance.

    + Complete light MIG welding repairs as needed.

    + Troubleshoot issues efficiently and provide accurate repair solutions.

    + Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety standards.

    + Communicate effectively with customers and team members regarding repairs and timelines.

    Essential Skills

    + Must have own tools for RV service work.

    + Proven experience in mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical repairs.

    + Ability to perform light MIG welding.

    + Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

    + Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

    + Valid driver’s license required.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience working on RVs or similar vehicles.

    + Knowledge of RV systems and components.

    + Customer service skills for client interaction.

    + 6 months manufacturing experience.

    + High School or College Shop classes, farm hand, mechanical aptitude, micrometer and caliper experience is a plus.

    Work Environment

     

    The work environment consists of a team of 20 mostly operators and a couple of laborers on the 1st shift, which operates from 6 am to 3:30 pm Monday to Friday, with some Saturdays required from 5 am to 9 am. The production machining environment promotes collaboration and efficiency.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of MOSCOW, IA.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
